ANIMALS HUNTING

Hunting wild animals in Indonesia in particular in Sulawesi is common, as it has been done since long time ago.

It is done for consumption or as an extra income. In addition to hunting, they cultivate the land.

Hunting animals not all in the forests can be caught some kinds of animals which are protected such as wild pigs and deer. Those which can be hunted.

Hunting way and tools, the way to hunt in Indonesia is different from that in Europe. Hunter use traditional ways and tools such as spears, long cleavers, nets and are helped by hunting dogs. The number of hunters are of at least five and have different formations in accordance with their skills

ANIMALS WATCHING

Sulawesi island is blessed with extremely diverse flora and fauna, including a number of endemic species, meaning they are not found any where else in the would. :

Ø  Maleo bird, which lays its huge eggs in soil heated by the sun or volcanic springs and the not her watching in the trees.

Ø  Tarsiers ( a tiny mocturnal primate )

Ø  Anoas, this kind of animals is the king of jungle in sulawesi which is scared by human beings and other wild animals. This animals have territorial areas and are always in a couples. If they find animals which is are not their group they certainly fight and sometimes fight until dead, when they fight, they close their eyes that is why it is easy to avoid them.
